For these videos, Dream Theater’s John Petrucci visited Mesa/Boogie’s California factory to give the world an insight into the way he uses the new Mark V to achieve his tones. He covers his use of Channels 1 and 2 in the first video, and the powerful Channel 3 in the second. Channel 3 includes the sounds of the legendary Mark IIC+ and the Mark IV, two amps that were once staples of John’s rig.
Roadrunner Records also conducted a brief interview with John recently, where they asked him to summarize his thoughts on this eventful year in Dream Theater history.
