Tosin Abasi of Animals As Leaders shows us one of his favorite licks – a fretboard-spanning flurry of arpeggiated fury. Tosin uses all strings but his lowest for this lick, meaning that it can be played on a seven-string in standard tuning as shown in the tab.
“This is just an F#minor7 arpeggio, but I’m tapping the same arpeggio a 5th above – so you kind of have this cascading triplet sort of feel.”
