ALL SHALL PERISH Studio Update #4

March 18th, 2011

Oakland, California extreme metallers ALL SHALL PERISH have posted the fourth installment of their new studio reports.

ALL SHALL PERISH recently completed their fourth album, the follow up to their 2008 release Awaken the Dreamers. The record was completed right before the band hit the road for their current tour with KATAKLYSM, DECREPIT BIRTH, CONDUCTING FOR THE GRAVE and ABYSMAL DAWN. Expect the album to be released around the ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL TOUR this year. Guitarist Ben Orum recently had this to say about the bands new material:

“I have never been this excited about a release. This is going to be ALL SHALL PERISH’s finest hour!”

ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL, the heralded hard rock and metal event of the summer, is swiftly becoming the heavy music fans’ summertime rite of passage. The 4th annual summertime juggernaut announces the 2011 line-up with DISTURBED, GODSMACK and MEGADETH, joined by MACHINE HEAD, IN FLAMES, TRIVIUM, ALL SHALL PERISH and many more of today’s most electrifying artists. The 26-date tour will begin July 9th at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California. Tune in to www.rockstarmayhemfest.com and www.livenation.com for up-to-date ticketing information and show dates.

The new album will mark the recording debut of guitar virtuoso Francesco Artusato from Treviso, Italy. Examples of his playing may be found here.

Awaken The Dreamers, the third full-length album from Oakland, California-based extreme metallers ALL SHALL PERISH, sold just under 5,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 126. The follow-up to The Price of Existence was recorded once again at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland with producer Zack Ohren (LIGHT THIS CITY, DECREPIT BIRTH).
