Legendary guitarist David Gilmour made good tonight on his promise to join former Pink Floyd bandmate Roger Waters at a show during Waters’ ‘The Wall Live’ tour this year, by appearing not only only on a stirring rendition of ‘Comfortably Numb,’ but also for the climactic ‘Outside The Wall‘ along with fellow Pink Floyd alum Nick Mason on drums. Before this concert, Gilmour and Waters had performed together only twice since Waters left the band in the wake of 1983’s The Final Cut – at 2005’s Live 8 and a much smaller benefit concert in 2010.
