JOE BONAMASSA GUITAR GIVEAWAY CONTEST RULES:

By entering in the JOE BONAMASSA GUITAR GIVEAWAY CONTEST, entrants agree to these official rules and agree to accept all decisions of Guitar Messenger regarding this contest as final. The contest is taking place in the United States only and will be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United States.

Entry: Only one entry is allowed per person/email address for the duration of the contest. Entrants can enter the contest by submitting a fully completed entry form online at

Incomplete entries will not be accepted.

Eligibility: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. This contest is open to legal residents of the United States, with the exception of Guitar Messenger affiliates, including their immediate family members, and individuals living in the same household. Contestants must be 18 years or older as of April 15, 2008

Contest Times and Drawing: The contest will begin on April 15, 2008 and will end on June 15, 2008. Entries for all prizes must be received by 11:59PM, US EST, on June 14, 2008. The potential winner will be notified by e-mail within 30 days after the drawing for this contest. If a winner is unreachable for 7 days after being contacted by Guitar Messenger, or if that winner is otherwise unable to receive the prize, he/she may be disqualified and an alternative winner will be selected by random drawing among all remaining contestants. Guitar Messenger will select winners by random drawings from entries received on time. All winners will be subject to verification and must meet all eligibility requirements before a prize is awarded.

Prizes and Odds: The prize of this contest is a Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 (Ebony) guitar with an authentic signature from Joe Bonamassa on the front of the instrument. All prizes are awarded on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or warranty of merchantability. The prizes are not transferable, and no substitutions or cash exchanges are allowed, except that Guitar Messenger reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Release of Liability: Neither Guitar Messenger nor any of its affiliates are responsible for errors in any contest-related materials; incomplete entries; or for transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Guitar Messenger reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest, as determined by Guitar Messenger in its sole discretion. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Guitar Messenger and its affiliates from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to persons, including death, or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize, participation in this promotion, or while traveling to, preparing for, or participating in any prize-related activity.

Shipping: Prizes will be shipped to winners at no cost to the address provided on the entry form. Guitar Messenger is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Use of Information: Except where prohibited by law, entry gives permission to Guitar Messenger to use the winners name, city, and state of residence, likenesses, and any statements made by winner regarding the contest and the prizes, for publicity purposes without any compensation and for purposes of complying with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Information from all entries may be used by Joe Bonamassa’s Management Company (J&R Adventures) and Guitar Messenger for promotional, statistical, and e-mailing list purposes.

Miscellaneous: The Contest and all accompanying materials are Copyright © 2008 by Guitar Messenger, and will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. If any provision of these Official rules shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Official Rules and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Guitar Messenger reserves the right to prohibit participation in the Contest of persons whose eligibility is in question or who have been disqualified or are otherwise ineligible to enter the Contest.
